The Reunion Party began at 6:00 p.m. at Hank Brown's Greenville Jet Center in an aircraft hanger at the Greenville Downtown Airport. The free bar was courtesy of class member Hank Brown. Special Entertainment at 7:30 with the local comedy team, "Cafe & Then Some", brought back fond memories of being a high school student in the 60's. My, we have moved on since then! The reunion banquet consisted of barbecue chicken and pork with all the trimmings, including fresh apple and berry cobblers for desert. For those who wanted to dance as well as visit, the jukebox was filled with all the favorite "oldies." 

I had a blast at the reunion, meeting all the people, rekindling memories, and making new friends.  After all, there were nearly 500 people in our senior class, and it rapidly became apparent to me during the reunion that it was not that I did not remember people, but that I never knew them in the first place. I was truly impressed with how well people had done in their lives, and what charming and successful people they seemed to be. Thanks to Katrina Sizemore for finally teaching me to Shag! And thanks to everyone on the Reunion Planning Committee for bringing off such a fun event. It was a great party.
