The LDS wedding ceremony is small by design, and
intended to be private. Only close family and a few friends. Less
than 30 people and even then you need a Temple Recommend to get in.
So, those of us who could not go in, including Brittney's sisters,
Christine and Anastasia, who are too young, all waited outside while the actual ceremony took
place. Fortunately, there was an air conditioned waiting room.
Afterwards, on the grounds, they took lots of the
"traditional" types of wedding pictures. The bride and groom change
into temple garments for the actual wedding, and then change back to
wedding gown and tux for the pictures. Brittney's dress was quite
beautiful, and Adam was very handsome in a formal suit rather than a
tux.
I also thought the black and white floral print dress, set off by
with a red sash, worn by the bride's maids, was attractive.
The temple lawn after the ceremony is where all the
wedding guests assembled and had a chance to visit while the
photographer was arranging for all the various traditional wedding
photos. As you can see from the photos, everyone was having a good
time - especially Adam and Brittney!
