Then you can work with your web designer to fine tune the Title, Description and Keyword META Tags on each page of your website. Once you have done that, make sure you register your site directly with each of the major search engines. Then, consider Sponsored Advertising or Pay-Per-Clicks. This is a service offered both by Overture.com and Google.com. You might also try to find as many people as possible to link to your web site. Obviously not direct competitors. Link to the schools you attended, professional organizations you belong to, local newspapers, etc. Ask people and other businesses to link to your site. If they do, link back to their web site. The more reciprocal links you can get, the more likely you are to get a good rating in the search engines. This is called Web Site Popularity. Please keep in mind that none of these strategies are magic bullets. Good search engine placement is not an easy thing to achieve. It takes time and perseverance. There are too many people out there trying for the same thing. But the longer you stay out there, the higher your rating will become, and the more likely people are to find you. BTW: Make sure you include your web site name in every piece of correspondence, business cards, and advertising, including yellow pages, that you use or distribute. This is at least as effective as anything else you can do. You have obviously spent time and money to create your website. I urge you to market it properly. Whatever you're sales are now, your traffic will increase dramatically after I complete this work. That is a realistic expectation based upon my experience. Think about it. Thanks for your time.
